The Mazda Motor Corporation was founded in Hiroshima, Japan in 1920, making three-wheeled motorcycles called, “Autorickshaws.” These were the highlight of Mazda sponsored events in the 1930s, causing the popularity of motorized carts to skyrocket as well as bringing the Mazda name to light. The first passenger vehicle was created in 1940, but at the time, Mazda was known for their three-wheeled carts. Since more affordable cars were being demanded, Mazda started compiling designs for compact cars, trucks, and three-wheeled vehicles that ended up leading to the creation of the famous Mazda rotary engine.
The main Mazda technology to set it apart from all the rest is the Skyactiv® Technology. This means less of the legendary rotary engine that gave Mazda its initial fame, but more innovative models that other manufacturers find hard to compete with. With some of the most powerful and fuel-efficient engines, how can you even compare models from Honda or Toyota?
Once Mazda nearly perfected their engine technology, the focus shifted to advanced safety technology such as a 360-degree monitor, found on select trims, to assist in backing up and parking, as well as giving a clearer view of your surroundings. This offers better navigation for trips around Orange Park. Improve your driving experience with a new Mazda and all of the technology one has to offer.
